Introduction
During the ‘80’s, one man and his car stopped criminals who operate above the law. 10 years on, in the year 2000, everything has changed. Criminals are now frozen instead of jailed to save the city money. Handguns are outlawed and are banned to the public and even the police.

The foundation for law and government, owned by Devon miles and new partner Russell Maddock, is under threat of finishing and closing its doors. They believe that if they develop a brand new super car called KIFT – the knight industries four thousand, they can save the foundation and there future.

Michael knight has quit the foundation 10 years ago because he lost his sense of purpose. KITT has also been dismantled and his parts been sold off. Devon then visits Michael and asks for his help. Michael then reactivates KITT’s cpu and then installs it into his 1957 Chevy. On the way, Michael meets Shawn McCormick who has one of KITT’s chips implanted in her brain. Michael and Shawn then investigate the illegal arm guns been sold using KITT and KIFT.

The Knight industries four thousand

The knight industries four thousand (or KIFT for short) is the latest super car from the foundation for law and government. It surpasses all previous vehicles in the knight series in terms of technology, safety and intelligence – and of course gadgets. (fax machines, an in-built phone and video monitors for example)

KIFT has nice sleek invulnerable body with a deep red finish. Like KITT, KIFT can go to 300mph very quickly, which is handy for chasing the bad guys in high-speed pursuits. Also equipped as standard is the voice modulator. With this, the computer installed into the car and talk to the driver and passages. Which is handy if need some information – or just want a chat.

Now lets talk about the gadgets – and like KITT, KIFT is loaded with them. The Virtual Reality feature shows a computer-enhanced simulation of the road and target vehicles KIFT may be pursuing. The digital sampling feature is quite handy too – as it can re-create any voice the computer “hears” – useful if you need some inside information.

Back in the old days, police used to shoot the tyres of runaway cars to stop them. Well – the knight 4000 has a thermal expander which bursts any car tyres. KIFT also has a collision Factor Analyzer which makes a collision highly unlikely as it makes the car very safe indeed!

The problem with the knight industries two thousand was that it wasn’t too good on the water. Well now KIFT can turn into a speedboat using its Hydrofoil Capability. You never know when you will need it.
